When Family Are Triggered with their Mental Illnesss!

Very good advice. I think the hardest thing is not to take their behavior personally. With my own PTSD sometimes I need my space and my husband and children feel like it is something they did but it really isn't.

Peers with PTSD or other mental illness just get stressed out sometimes and need to use their coping skills and sometimes it is being alone in meditation, art therapy, or just being alone until the anger, frustration feeling settle down or go away.

Good reminders...we WILL survive, and so will they.
