Triggers and Flashbacks
Take one trigger/flashback at a time and learn new coping skills. Remember your family may not understand what you are going through so try hard not to get angry with them instead find you support group. They will help you through the emergency stages of healing and will understand what you are going through. Take the small steps towards healing because it is worth it. It is a difficult and scary road but you will make it. I am on the other side now and it is great to finally be able to live again and spend precious time with my family. There are still times I struggle but the valuable coping skills I learned helped me so much that it doesn't disrupt my life as much as it used to.
