Why do you think victims stay quiet?
It is because our justice system is so broken that we end up on stage instead of our abusers. I feel in my case the system failed me because of the statute of limitations and my PTSD diagnosis but there is no excuse for my children to be failed as well.
I am really struggling tonight. I need words of encouragement that all my suffering was not for nothing and the fight I have been fighting for my children hasn't been for nothing. I am losing faith in the justice system completely.
Fellow survivors please comment. I really need your words of support because I know you understand what I am going through.
